Lamborghini company plans to launch its first all-electric model in the second half of this decade which considers being its final phase. No details were announced about the car, but the illustration of a draped car released as a “teaser” suggests some features. We notice an upwards beltline and a sharp angle between the windshield and the roof, elements that underline the aesthetic kinship of the vehicle with the Urus. It shouldn’t be an SUV, however, or a supercar. It is a GT that seems to take shape, which would confirm the rumors announcing for more than two years a 2 + 2 electric model, or even a sedan, at Lamborghini. This remains to be confirmed. What is official, however, is that it will be a fourth model for the brand’s regular lineup, which currently has only three.

“Lamborghini’s electrification plan is a newly-plotted course, necessary in the concept of a radically changing world, where we want to make our contribution by continuing to minify and reduce the environmental pollution through concrete projects,” it is a period of a deep transformation that impacts the entire automotive innovation.

Automobili Lamborghini’s President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann’s statement On Tuesday: “Our answer is a plan with a 360-degree approach, including our products and our Sant’agata Bolognese position, lead us towards a high sustainable future while always being grateful.”
