What? XPeng have 400 fast-charging stations!

XPeng Inc. (NYSE: XPEV) stated last Tuesday that as of Aug 2021, the company has installed a total of 400 own-brand fast-charging stations across 101 Chinese cities. Just in the last month, 102 of these stations were newly released.

In Aug, the Electric vehicle maker completed the installation of sixteen highway fast-charging stations, bringing the total number of XPeng-branded highway fast-charging stations to 27. The automaker is the first in China to provide fast-charging services at highway rest stations.

As seen by XPeng’s new report, the corporation’s charging network currently includes 81 destination charging stations, 36 of which have been installed last month, along with 1596 free charging stations spread throughout 209 Chinese cities.

In comparison, XPeng’s local competitor NIO, on the other side, launched 87 new battery swap stations throughout August. This electric vehicle company has also installed 73 destination charging stations & 56 fast chargers. In addition, NIO launched thirteen NIO Spaces, three NIO Service Centers & one NIO House. And according to our reliable sources, NIO possesses 300 fast-charging stations, 445 battery swap stations & 502 destination charging stations as of 13 September.

Tangshan, Nantong, Taiyuan, Shijiazhuang, Yinchuan, Urumchi, Huanggang, Luoyang, Yangzhou, Chizhou, Changchun, Shenyang, and Harbin are some of the 60 regions and cities where the electric vehicle company aims to expand its fast-charging network within the next 3 weeks.
